Description
O2 Central is a mobile network operator and the principal commercial brand of Telefonica UK Limited, which is part of the Global Telecommunications group Telefonica S.A, Headquartered in Spain and operating in Europe, and North, Central and South America.
Job Responsibilities: As an AWS Cloud DevOps Engineer, responsible for taking care of AWS infrastructure provisioning, day to day build and release activities. These activities include build issues, deployment issues for multiple releases like maintenance release, enhancement release, bug fixes, emergency releases. Written Cloud Formation Templates (CFT) in JSON and YAML format to build the AWS services of Infrastructure as a Code. Migrated AWS infrastructure from one AWS account to another AWS account. Implemented Jenkins Shared libraries from scratch with different CI and CD pipelines.(maven Pipeline, Pipeline and terraform Pipeline etc...) Moved all Jenkins pipeline jobs from one Jenkins server to another Jenkins server along with its Secret Credentials. Implemented lot of terraform modules to reuse the code. Implemented total CI and CD process with AWS Code Pipeline, Code Build and Code Deploy end to end. Created GitHub repositories to publish project documentation and integrated these repositories with Jenkins to automate. Written Jenkins files in groovy language to implement CI CD process. Integrated Jenkins and Code Pipeline with Slack channels to get alerts and resolved connectivity issues on IAM roles and resources. Monitoring all AWS resources and created custom dashboards using AWS CloudWatch. Implemented cross account access roles with suitable IAM polices in AWS. Granting access to the different users for GitHub/AWS/Jenkins services. Worked on Automation of adding resource tags to AWS resources while creation of AWS resources with CloudFormation. Used AWS Config as centralized dashboard to get all Compliance and non-compliance resources by creating rules.
