Description

Online Real time tracking of Coal Loaded Trucks and monitoring during 24 X 7 Hours Originating from RG-I, RG-II, RG-III (Ramagundam ) and Bhupalapally.

Client: Singareni Collieries Company Limited, Kothagudem

Role: Software Engineer

Key Technologies: C#, ASP.NET, ADO.NET, Oracle Database, and HTML.

Hardware Involved: Vehicle Tracking Units, Passive RFID Readers and Tags, IP Cameras, Boom Barriers

Description:

The aim of the project is to reduce pilferage and avoid unauthorized diversion of coal Trucks. The entire package is used to monitor coal loaded trucks from loading places in Ramagundam and Bhupalapally to dynamically allocated places.

Application Features:

The Application interfaces with all the hardware to fulfill the following requirements.

1. Online Tracking of Loaded Tracks on Google Map.

2. Geofence Violation of Tracks in the assigned Road.

3. Identification of RFID Tag of Trucks by RFID Reader

3. Opening and Closure of Boom barriers.

4. Snap shots of Loaded and Unloaded Trucks.

5. Web-Application showing the status of Trucks online and real time.

6. Sending SMS alerts to identified mobile numbers in case of Geo-fence voilation,

Stoppage of loaded trucks on the road more than 10 minutes.

7. Web-Application showing summary of each shift and each day and any other day.

a. Number of trips made by each Truck

b. Time consumed by each Trugle Map.

e. Storage of real time data in Oracle Database.

8. Development and Modification of Wck for each Trip.

c. Geo-fence Violation of each Truck.

d. Present location of Trucks on Gooeb-Application based on customer’s requirement.

Responsibilities:

  • Involved in the analysis, design, Development of the intranet based application.
  • Developed the applicationon .Net Framework 4.0 using C#.
  • Used ADO.NET objects such as Data Adapter, Data Reader, Dataset and Data List for reading/updating records in the database.
  • Involved in All Stages of Application from start to end.
  • Extensively involved in writing SQL Querieson TOAD For Oracle Database.
