It is a product being developed for integrating the health management system throughout the country UK. The Lorenzo system comprises of multiple applications called Sys-Config, EPR Application and Profile Editor. Lorenzo Regional Care has been developed in line with the exacting specifications of the National Programme for IT, the worlds largest and most complex public sector health IT program. Forming one of the key systems for the creation of a local care records service, Lorenzo will connect the patient records of 30 million people across 60% of the Englands National Health Service (NHS) The complete NHS Lorenzo Regional Care implementation will result in a system that helps providers deliver services to the patient quickly, conveniently, and seamlessly. Messaging is the work package which deals with the integration of various external systems like Clinical related messages like ADT and orders and results messages like ORM and ORU deals integration between Lorenzo and third-party systems. Patient Administration messaging is the one which captures the Patients visit information like Admit Transfer and Discharge informations from the third-party systems via HL7 V2 messages.
