Description: This project is to develop a Global Common Labor Code Set for warranty metric management. This will reduce labor code proliferation resulting in more efficient and effective warranty claim analysis for quality improvement. This will also improve management of global labor codes, warranty administration and field action execution. Currently, the labor codes are maintained by different regions with their own labor codes. This resulted in more number of labor codes and repetition. It’s decided to generate and maintain a uniform set of labor codes which will improve consistency in reporting for warranty metric management.
Environment: SAS 9.2, SAS/EG, Windows XP, UNIX.
