Environment : SQL Server, Power BI Description: National Hearing Care is a Hearing Care Clinic in Australia and it is one of the best for the treatment of Hearing and producing the Hearing devices as per the need of the customer. Using this existing database, we analyze their business moment like different product sales trends, sales profits, regional sales, top N products sales. The resulting model gives us an idea about growth in profit, prediction about increase in sales which helps the management in decision making. Responsibilities:  Participated in requirements meetings and Scrum Calls to understand the Report Requirements.  Identified and Documented detailed business rules.  Used Power Query / Query Editor for Data transformation as per the reporting needs.  Created Data Model in Power Pivot by Establishing the Relationship Between the tables.  Created New Columns and New Measures over data models for the purpose of enhancing Power BI visuals using DAX.  Participated in weekly, daily meetings, reviews meeting as well as communicating with business teams.  Integrated Custom Visuals based on business requirements using Power BI desktop.  Created Hierarchies and Drilldown Reports.  Created Microsoft Power BI Dashboards in Power BI Service using Reports.  Installed and Configured Data Gateways to Refresh and Schedule Refresh the Dataset.  Managed access of Reports, Dashboards and Data for individual users using roles.  Implemented Row Level Security as part of Security.  Provided continued maintenance and development of bug fixes for the existing and new Power BI Reports.

Environment : SQL Server and Power BI Description: Ameriprise Financial, Inc. is an American diversified financial services company. Ameriprise Financial engages in business through its subsidiaries, providing financial planning, products and services, including wealth management, asset management, insurance, annuities and estate planning. We receive all subjects’ data in the form of Excel, OLEDB and flat files which need to be loaded into the Database schemas. For loading data into DB we are designing SSIS Packages. The resulting model gives us an idea about growth in profit, prediction about increase in sales. The data Warehouse plays a major role in enabling various stores to view the data at a lowest level and help them to make decisions to bring more revenue to company with new policies. Responsibilities:  Extracting data from different kind of source systems into Power query and then cleansing the data by applying business rules and loading it into Power Pivot.  Building the relationships between the various data sets in power pivot.  Created new columns, new measures and conditional columns using DAX functions.  Created different filters like visual level filters and page level filters and report level filters as per reporting needs.  Designed and deployed reports with Drill Down and Dropdown menu option.  Created various visualizations like donut chart, Pie chart and Bar graph, Tree map and water fall charts and Card Visualizations.  Developed at least two - three visual options for each report for discussion with stakeholders and customers.  Publishing reports to Power BI server and providing the access to required users.  Implemented Row Level Security as part of Security.  Provided continued maintenance and development of bug fixes for the existing and new Power BI Reports.
