Description
Cisco Unified Call Manager (CUCM) is software-based call processing system from Cisco towards the IP Telephony Solution. This project involves development of the new features added as a part of voice-over-IP (VoIP) and call processing modules of CUCM. CUCM software extends enterprise telephony features and capabilities to packet telephony network devices such as IP phones, media processing devices, VoIP gateways. CUCM also interacts with unified messaging, multimedia conferencing, Cisco Express way, Cisco Spark and interactive response systems to provide data, voice and video services.

Description: The product under consideration is Cisco Unified Communication Manager (CUCM). The CUCM is an IP based PBX product currently targeted for the Enterprise market segment.
CTIManager: CTI Manager is a component of the CUCM which exposes the CUCM functionality of call processing or call control to 3rd party applications. Through this interface applications can access telephony capabilities provided by the CallManager.
Responsibilities:
- Involved in the development and testing phases of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
Worked in Agile methodology.
- Understanding user stories using RALLY tool.
- Participate in sprint planning and give estimation of specifics user stories. Pick the user stories.
- Transitioning the completed features from the scrum team to the regression teams. Interface between the Client and the off-shore automation scrum team
- Provided support to the Regression teams on issues related to the features and testing tools
- Reviewing automation scripts and test plan written by same/other team members.
- Worked on New features:
- Location Based Services – As a Developer.
- Migration of Cisco TSP from Visual Studio 2005 to 2012
- UC Fusion: Spark Only Remote Device
- Triaging and Bug fixing on the 2 components (CTI, JTAPI).
- Mentoring and Knowledge transferring to new team members.
- Lab Maintenance, Test Bed Setup.
- Testing using CTITestTool (Cisco proprietary).
